| Teign House Rugby Cup Final 20/10/2007
Iggy managed to get hold of an excellent projector TV which was huge and meant we could all watch the match in style. Some real ales were specially laid in, including "Scrummers Ale" and a barbeque was laid on. As there was no charge for the show, instead a hat was passed around for Colin Edwards, who is preparing to run the New York Marathon. Colin has only one leg, so appropriately he is doing it in aid of PORT-ER (Prosthetics, Orthotics & Rehabilitation Technology - Education & Research) In plain language this is the charity that helps people who have lost limbs and very definately a deserving cause. A wonderful time was had by all, until disaster struck: South Africa won! still, we were able to drown our sorrows in some excellent beer! CREDITS (The powerpoint presentation shown on the night) |
