This is a traditional Devon country pub, near Christow in the Teign Valley.

There is a convivial bar where you can enjoy a drink and soak up the atmosphere, maybe try some of our Real Ales.

We've completely rebuilt our dining room, where you can sample our top quality Home Cooked Food, always locally sourced wherever possible.

We are now doing fish and chips, curry, Tapas and Pizzas which can be eaten in or taken away.

There is a pleasant Garden set in stunning countryside with a childrens play area.

We also offer a Camping Field, suitable for tents and caravans, set in a beautiful location next to the river Teign.This is open between the 1st April and the 30th September each year.

We can do larger and very special occasions with the use of a marquee in our garden:

We've won a Prize!
We've been voted South Devon CAMRA's (Campaign For Real Ale) pub of the year for 2010!
There was a presentation at the pub on April the 1st by South Devon CAMRA's chairman Mike Fitzmaurice.

We are over the moon to be picked as the best real ale pub out of 340 in the area and apparently we go on to the regional finals. We will certainly do our best to live up to our reputation!

Our much requested "Alittlements" will be available this Spring . These are miniture allotments, handy for green fingered drinkers!

We have had some new arrivals this April. we have acquired some chickens for everbodys enjoyment as well as providing a usefull source of eggs. within a week the number doubled! see the pics:

Our annual beer festival will take place on the 9th, 10th & 11th July - more details nearer the time.

Again we'll be having our popular tag rugby evenings every Wednesday Evening after May half term.

Every Monday is Curry night! choose from a selection of delicious home made curries, add a pint of beer, all for just £9.50.

Evey other Monday is Euchre evening, the next one scheduled for the 29th March.

Tuesday evenings are Darts evenings!, starting about 8.30.

The first Wednesday of the month is "Open Mike Night" where if you can play a fiddle, accordion or any other instrument, come along and jam!
